Tan Kay Nguan is a very versatile Singapore artist in his choice of art form, content, technique and media. Covering from conventional to experimental in every presentation, his paintings are exceptional. His works are capable of reflecting the profound depth of Chinese art, and at the same time, embracing the acme of abstract art. In short, his artistic skill is distinctively in depth of painting brilliance.

Sonny Liew is a Malaysian-born comic artist/illustrator based in Singapore. He is best known for his work on Vertigo Comics’ My Faith in Frankie together with Mike Carey and Marc Hempel, and “Re-gifters” from DC Minx.

Other works include the Xeric-winning Malinky Robot, the Eisner-nominated series Wonderland with Tommy Kovac from Slave Labor Graphics and Disney, as well as contributions to the comic anthologies Flight and 24seven.

He is currently working on a project for First Second Books, as well putting together an anthology of South east Asian artists called “Liquid City”.

Sonny graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Philosophy and the Rhode Island School of Design. Before that he studied at Victoria Junior College and Victoria School in Singapore. His first published comics was in The Newpaper in Singapore, a daily strip called Frankie and Poo. He published a compilation later, including censored strips.
